Template — please review before publishing. This is a working draft covering the standard UK GDPR points. Confirm the specifics (registered address, ICO registration, data-processor list, retention periods) and have it checked by your solicitor before you rely on it.

Who we are

SPD Interiors Ltd (“SPD Interiors”, “we”, “us”) is an interior design and architecture studio. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at office@spd-interiors.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details — your name, email, phone/WhatsApp, project type, budget and the notes you send us.
  • Client & project data — for engaged clients, project documents, approvals, messages, photos and payment records.
  • Account data — the email and credentials you use to sign in to the client portal.
  • Technical data — basic error diagnostics (a message, page and browser) when something goes wrong, so we can fix it.

How we use it & our legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals — legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract.
  • To deliver your project, manage approvals, documents and payments — performance of a contract.
  • To operate and secure the platform, and diagnose faults — legitimate interests.
  • To send service emails (invites, proposals, updates) — contract / legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that run our platform, under contract and only as needed:

  • Hosting & database (our cloud infrastructure)
  • File storage, email delivery, and card-payment processing
  • Professional advisers and authorities where legally required

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to follow up, and client & project data for the life of the engagement plus any period required for tax, accounting and legal obligations. We then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: access a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; or receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email office@spd-interiors.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The platform uses only the storage necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your light/dark choice). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
